ORIGINAL HAND COLORED LITHOGRAPH. Excellent condition, no tears, creases or marks. "Booted Eagle", "Aquila Pennata". From John Goulds "The Birds Of Europe", accompanied by the original letterpress describing the birds habitats and changes of plumage. Gould over saw the entire project and drew some of the birds while employing other artists to assist with the project and also draw some of the birds. From volume I. circa 1832.
