Avery finecondition WW1 Trench Gun-Metal 7 J Swiss Borgel WaterProof Military Pocket Watch from 1918, retailed by F. A. Chandler ofLeamington Spa. This is a beautifully made keyless-wound pocket watch.

The buy it nowprice is a clear reflection of the rarity, stunning conditionand long-term investment for this watch.

The watch recently cleaned and overhauled and comes with a two year international mechanical warranty and keeps very good time.

THE DIAL: 100% mint, the bright white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and in bright condition with no chipsor fine hairlines. The dial with fine gold spade hands. Diameter is42 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely. The dial fully signed, Maker to the Admiralty, F A Chandler of Leamington Spa.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with agilt metal finish three quarter plate and a regulator, and blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping very good 2024 time for a 100 year old watch. The watch with 7 jewels and engraved Swiss Made.The watch ismuch brighter and crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equipment.

THE CASE: 96% mint, the gun-metal finish case measures an impressive 50 mm. The front and rear covers both screw on nice and tightly. The case with mineral glass to front of the watch. The rear cover with minor marks and scratches and fine oxidation marks.

The watch comes with a new presentation box to store the watch when not in use.
