Good afternoon from Nyack, NY. Purchased this for my personal collection of local art (Gussow was out of Piermont; Im in Nyack). It doesnt really work in my house- its a bit challenging to hang. In any event, offered here to move it along. Happy bidding!

"Gussow for Shaman", 1983, collage of post cards with added pastels, signed and dated in center, unaltered card, framed size 20" x16". Framed and matted. I have not removed the image from the frame for inspection.

The plexiglass is a little warped, and there is a crack line top left. The inexpensive frame is not helping the piece. Id like to send this flat packed, no frame. There is some damp staining on the mat at the top of the image. I want to remove the frame and mat and ship just the art. Free shipping on this DOES NOT include the frame and the mat. If you want the frame and the mat I will charge you actual cost of shipping.

Sight size appx. 16" x 9.75". Not sure how far image extends under mat / backing materials.

100% guaranteed; comes with receipt from former owner signed by Gussow. Receipt dated 1996. Since the item is dated 1983, Gussow must have held onto it for a while; I like to think he enjoyed the image.

Gussow is an important Abstract Expressionist and his work can sell for really significant sums. I was fortunate to buy this right, Im just looking to move it onwards.
