This stunning Art Nouveau piece was produced by Lenox during the CAC (Ceramic Art Company) trademark period from 1897-1906. The sterling overlay was used only for special orders, mostly from steamship companies. Highly unusual ornate chinoiserie bird design with bamboo embellishments. I believe this has the CAC decorator stamp but difficult to tell for certain. Approx 8"H X 8"W.

Condition: Excellent condition, small nub on interior of lid chipped, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected.
