In the original price-clipped dust wrapper.

A history of Western Sudan by E. W. Bovill, briefly outlining the growth of the country and its expansive trade, and its importance to Christian Europe.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, two folding maps, one map, and some in-text maps.

Collated, complete.


CONDITION

In the original publishers cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, generally smart, with some marks to the boards. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prior owners ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn, with a closed tear to the head of the front wrap. A little age-toning to the wraps, mostly to the spine, with some light spots and handling marks, including marks to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
