Sanah Patel loves her friends. From sleepovers to shopping at the mall, theres nothing she enjoys more than spending time with them. Sure, she isnt always able to relate to them. And yeah, she may not always be included by the others, but thats fine, right? At least shes got friends!

When shes partnered with her groups nemesis, Cruise Bates, for a history project, Sanah does everything she can to ensure that she stays distant from him in order to remain loyal to her friends. But the more time she spends with him, the more she comes to realize that Cruise doesnt match her friends descriptions at all: in fact, hes the complete opposite of what they said hed be like.
